Prsenior defender – Oleksiy Sych (Rukh)

In Kryvyi Rih, Sych successfully played against the Kuzyk-Mykytyshyn combination, and also performed a large amount of work on interceptions, rebounds and basic single combat. As for the wing-back’s connections to attacks, Oleksiy has added significantly and is currently one of the best in the entire UPL. He scored an assist for the second round in a row: this time, Karabin took advantage of his cross at the far post from an acute angle.

Itcentral defender – Vladyslav Priymak (Obolon)

Only for the second time in the championship, Obolon played without conceding goals, and it was against Veres with the experienced Stepaniuk, versatile forwards Mrvaljevych and Haiduchyk, as well as fast wings led by Luan and Dakhnovsky. We note the very high-quality game of Pryimak, who created a good duo with Karasem, worked well in the selection and interception of the ball and was noted for his intransigence in working with Rivne attackers. A zero score is now quite satisfactory for the people of Kyiv, and even in some ways an optimistic result, even if you want to beat your competitor at home in the fight for survival.

Itcentral defender – Artem Shabanov (FC Oleksandria)

Among the players who left Polissia not entirely of their own free will in the summer, we can mention the experienced defender Shabanov. Well, he played the match against his former teammates with such courage that he proved his level to everyone. In the won home match, he and Kampus stopped Paishao (the moment when the Brazilian was injured happened just in the fight with the center back at the entrance to the penalty area). Several times, Shabanov slowed down opponents’ attacks, not even allowing them to break through, and also several times joined the standards on other people’s goals, could score.

Lee2nd defender – Vladyslav Dubinchak (Dynamo)

Let’s say right away: we won’t say anything about the quality of Dynamo’s defensive game. However, the high class of players, even with “festive” mistakes behind, made it possible to defeat such an opponent as modern Ingulets. So Dubinchak worked well on the wing, took part in a number of sharp attacks and gave the most spectacular goal pass of the season. It was Vladyslav who threw a cross along the left edge to Vanat, who opened the scoring in the match against the champion of the First League of the PFL of Ukraine.

Itcentral midfielder – Marlon Gomez (Shakhtar)

The player of the Brazilian Olympic team, Marlon, was invited to the starting line-up, but numerous injuries did not allow him to play at least a one-month stretch with constant participation in the starting line-up at a consistently high level. All the time, if not the damage, then the rotation – and the player is of a high level and football intelligence. This is evidenced by his match against Chornomorets, where Gomez did an excellent passing job, giving, in particular, a smart assist in the episode with Zubkov’s goal, and also satisfactorily performed the proposed amount of rough work in the middle of the field. Elimination in the Classic could have a hard impact on Kryskiv if Marlon continues to perform on the same high note.

Prforward midfielder – Mollo Bessala (LNZ)

The Cameroonian used to score a lot in his homeland and in Estonia, but in Ukraine he now scored only his first goal. But it is difficult to overestimate the importance of Mollo’s finish, because this goal brought LNZ a strong-willed away victory over recent European Cup participant Zorya. Bessala did a great deal of work up front, playing well for the team and not shying away from tackles, as well as finding himself in striking positions several times and could have scored more. Shaparenko outclassed his opponents in the match with Ingulets: he scored twice, gave a well-conceived and executed assist to Vanat, and completely controlled a wide area of ​​the field from his own penalty area to someone else’s. What is there! In terms of the number of touches in the penalty area (which is one of the key indicators of dominance near the goal and coolness of handling the ball), Shaparenko was ahead of most center forwards in this round. We will not repeat the “joke for 300”, but we will emphasize that Kolya is currently one of five, no more, domestic football players in the domestic arena who have really surpassed the level of the UPL.

Lee2nd midfielder – Oleg Ocheretko (Carpathians)

On the left, we will place Ocheretka, who in the Carpathians periodically fills this position as well, and in general often shifts to the flanks. Playing inside, according to the old terminology, Oleg outplayed his opponents from the Left Bank and made a big contribution to the first crushing victory of the vice-champion of the First League since the summer. His credits include a goal from the penalty spot, an assist to Chachua (although, of course, it was actually a kick) and an assist to Ustimenko, who gave the goal to Podlepenets.

OnPadnyk – Vladyslav Vanat (Dynamo)

Competition with Guerrero is looming, and in this regard, we see how Vanat has added in diligence and sharpness. In the match against Ingulets, he opened the scoring in his debut with a pass from Dubinchak and scored before the break after a pass from Shaparenko, and then assisted Mykola himself for the fifth goal. A very strong individual performance, but, without a doubt, the young talent should be evaluated based on the matches in the European Cups and the national team, and not with the newcomer of the division Ingulets, we note without any disrespect to the rival Dynamo.

Rotan competently divided the forces between the tournaments, although both teams played for the Cup of Ukraine on the same day (let’s be objective, their opponents were of completely different levels – the first league Yuksa and one of the competitors in the UPL, Kryvbas), and also achieved a complete advantage in the most difficult duels of the match – by stopping Nazarenko and Hutsuliak on the wings, who in the past caused great trouble to this team. Co-leadership with Dynamo and a very real struggle for medals is a consequence of the trust of the management and the thoughtful work of the coaching staff of FC Oleksandria according to its philosophy.

Joker of the tour – Denys Ustimenko (Carpathians)

There are no problems with successful substitutions in this round. On Anton Salabay (see the nomination “the best attacking midfielder of the tour”) in Poltava and Yevhen Smirny scored the winning goals for Kovaliv and Alexandria, respectively, but our laureate is the 2019 world champion Denys Ustymenko. Appreciate the beauty of the situation: in the 69th minute, he replaces Shah, and two minutes later, in the course of a beautiful multi-movement, he gives an assist to Podlepenets for the first goal of the match!
