Dynamo (Kyiv) – Kryvbas (Kryvyi Rih) – 2:1

VoRotarian – Oleksiy Palamarchuk (Ingulets)

Even in the First League, Ingulets and Palamarchuk managed to be remembered by the “lions” as particularly difficult opponents. It happened this time as well. In total, the opponent’s goalkeeper made seven saves, he coped with several shots from Bruninho, Alvarez, Ocheretka and Igor from the game. When Oleksiy parried a penalty from the same Igor, it became clear that this was an extraordinary performance – the best goalkeeping benefit in the new UPL season.

Prsenior defender – Oleksandr Tymchyk (Dynamo)

We have a tough choice because, strictly speaking, there are some complaints about all the fullbacks in this tour. Tymchyk was also not so easy in the confrontation with Kryvbas, although he allowed his opponents much less than his colleagues from the opposite flank – Zaderatsi. Already in the debut of the match against the people of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr successfully connected to the attack, after which Guerrero threw the ball under Rubchinsky’s shot. In the end, Valentin opened the score with a shot from the second attempt, which set the pace for the entire central match of the tour.

Itcentral defender – Volodymyr Vilivald (Ingulets)

The match in Lviv was extremely difficult for the defensive line of Ingulets, especially since Kobin, an ex-Carpathian, is rebuilding the defense of the Petrovsky club, some old-timers are trying out positions unfamiliar to them (and not least because young people like Vilivald are successfully pushing them with a reinforced competition). Volodymyr made 15 interceptions, rebounds and blocks. Won most of the equestrian events. And even with Malysh, he successfully connected to attacks, creating a real threat for Kemkin.

Itcentral defender – Dmytro Semenov (Left Bank)

Undoubtedly, Kolos was the favorite in the home match against the UPL debutants. Knowing that the Left Bank in the center of defense relies on a defender in the main role (Yakimiv) and several young center backs, it was possible to predict an extremely difficult match for them. In fact, the all-rounder Semenov created a good duo with Yakymyv and neutralized the efforts of his rivals. Having played well with the ball and without the ball, he also issued promising long passes, giving direction to the attacks of Kyiv.

Leesecond defender – Artem Smolyakov (Polyssia)

First of all, the match against Vorskla was a big test for Smolyakov in defense: what are the moments at the beginning of each half worth, when Artem first blocked Iede’s shot on the goal line, and later muffed Kane’s shot, after which the ball ricocheted to Isenko (both moments – potentially goals). And when the shaky game reached its endgame, it was Smolyakov who “read” the takeaway after the corner and scored the winning goal for the Zhytomyr team with a beautiful shot from his left foot. Was it “Goal of the tour“? Read on.

Itcentral midfielder – Valentin Rubchinsky (Dynamo)

Rubchinsky was always in sight, because from a young age he got into the Dnipro academy, at one point he even visited the second-league FC Nikopol, but not Kryvbas intercepted Valentyn, but Dynamo. And now it was this young midfielder who opened the score in the central match of the tour, when, after passing Guerrero, he shot the goal from 18 meters with a second well-aimed shot. In the future, he played more in the passing game, worked very well in passing work. Two more times he shot through the goal of the Kryvyi Rih team – once inaccurately, once blocked. While Pikhalyonok is injured, and Shaparenko needs a rest, Rubchinsky got a chance to show himself – and, it seems, he took advantage of it.

Prforward midfielder – Luan Campos (Veres)

From the first matches, Luan showed his best qualities – speed, shot, ability to pass the ball and absorb space. All this agreed in the match against Zori, where he was opposed by opponents of quite a good level. Already in his debut, the jet-setting winger made a wonderful pass to Mrvaljevych, who at that moment missed the goal (and in response, the equals received a goal from Lugansk). After the break, Luan himself showed skill in finishing, starting on Iago’s pass from deep and firing a low shot into the net. It was the winning goal of Veres in the match against the recent regulars of the European Cups.

Atdefensive midfielder – Georgy Sudakov (Shakhtar)

After the failures of the national team and Shakhtar in the international arena, the pressure on our “home stars” increased, and in relation to Sudakov, it was generally devastating criticism. Well, what – it is worth noting that George responded to hate not with words, but with deeds. LNZ faced its strongest individual performance by one player this season. Sudakov himself scored four goals in different game situations in interaction with different players, and to the “poker” he added an assist for Zubkov’s rather beautiful goal. Now Giorgiy has overtaken Nazarenko at the head of the table of the most accurate and even got as close to him as possible according to the “goal+pass” system.

Lee2nd midfielder – Oleksandr Nazarenko (Polyssia)

Nazarenko deserved the first call to the national team like no one else. He gave a great start to the season in Polissia. Thus, in the match with Vorskla, Oleksandr was active from the first minutes, sharpened, he was the one who played to the end, throwing a goal pass to Luifer from the front line (and from the right side). He himself broke through the Poltava goal and gave out passes generously (in particular, the potential goal of the tour could be scored by the same Hernandez, who tried to block his pass with his heel). It was absolutely possible to stop Nazarenko only “on the ground” – in violation of the rules (for example, Izotov received a yellow card on him).

Onpadnyk – Oleksandr Filippov (FC Oleksandria)

The young defensive link of the Movement had a serious test in the person of Filippov. Agile and ready to open up at any moment, the striker gave the same address to Belyaev and Kravchenko (in both moments he went to the ball at the potential goal lines), besides, he worked well in the passing game. You can remember what good discounts Oleksandr supplied Kalyuzhny and Bezerra – and these midfielders have a good shot. At the end of the match, the experienced forward kept his freshness and indifference, quickly reacting to the goalkeeper’s unsuccessful clearance and opening the scoring in the 88th minute. Who would have thought that this was not the end of the game…

Onpadnyk – Ihor Krasnopir (Movement)

…Because Krasnopir also played to the end. Even in his debut, he could open the scoring after a sharp transfer from Karabin. Later, he constantly looked for his chance, waiting for it until the end of the compensated time of the second half. It was Igor who stepped on Kampusch’s foot, giving the referees on the field and VAR a reason to award a late penalty. The 11-meter goal was realized by the victim himself, thanks to which the Lviv residents won a strong-willed draw away from home with a potential competitor in the fight for the European Cup. So Krasnopir with five goals continues to chase the leaders of the scoring race.

Coach of the tour – Oleksandr Babych (Chornomorets)

It’s a tough coaching job: to fill a significantly updated team in the summer in a budget option and quickly establish interaction between very different, unevenly filled players. It would be the end of the world for someone – if there is an excess in some positions, a severe shortage in others, but Babich used four nominal center backs, placing Udod and Skiba in a pair below, putting Zharzha in the support zone with Yermakov, and, moreover, a Gambian with the type of Desai, Mateus or Makelele, if necessary, dropped down and created a numerical majority in the center of defense. Starting with the nominal 5-4-1, Chornomorets changed to 4-2-3-1 during the game. He easily operated with his modest personnel resources. Including, due to substitutions – for the third time in the current championship, the player whom Babich replaced scored a goal. Moreover, the debutant Shevtsov scored the winning goal for Oboloni just two minutes later on the field!

Joker of the tour – Ilya Shevtsov (Chernomorets)

It’s not that there aren’t any candidates for the vacant “Joker of the Tour” position in this round – he Neverton from Shakhtar provided an assist in less than 10 minutes on the field, and after a corner from Lednev from Polissia, Smolyakov played the rebound and planted what we (SPOILER!) celebrate in another category. However, Shevtsov, a newcomer from Odesa, produced just the standard of the “joker” game. After coming on as a substitute in the 85th minute, two minutes later he scored the winning goal from a transfer from Khoblenk. One cannot expect anything better in the debut match!

  • SportArena.com Stats: 1 matches in the championship, 1 goal.

The best young player of the tour – Oleg Ocheretko (Carpathians)

In general, the Carpathians created a number of moments near the goal of Ingulets and, based on the dynamics of their actions, deserved a better result. Ocheretko alone is worth something: he himself could score already at the beginning of the match (he even scored, but from offside), and potentially gave assists to Chachua to Igor. I really liked Oleg for his performance. And I liked even more how quickly the rented young player became the main and even in some ways the style-maker in his new team.

  • SportArena.com Stats: 7 matches in the championship, 1 goal.

The best legionnaire of the tour – Luifer Hernandez (Polyssia)

Legionnaires made the difference in this round. In Veres, both goals were made by foreign players (Montenegro Marko Mrvaljevic and Brazilian Luan scored, moreover, from a pass by compatriot Iago), in Shakhtar the assists were recorded by Burkinabe Lassina Traore and Brazilian Neverton, in LNZ the prestige goal was scored by Georgian Shota Nonikashvili, who earned Cameroonian Mollo. Malian Ibrahim Kane played a very strong match in Vorskla. But our choice is the Venezuelan Luifer Hernandez. He opened the scoring and could score more, proving that he deserves to play regularly in the starting line-up.

  • SportArena.com Stats: 5 matches in the championship, 1 goal.

The best goal of the tour – Artem Smolyakov (Polyssia → Vorskla)

This tour is rich in different goals – curious, skillful, simply beautiful. But the crazy trucker from Zhytomyr Smolyakov stands alone – it is something in the style of Tsurikov, Ismaili, Antunesh and other classics of crazy aiming shots from the left foot. The Vorsklians did not have time to fight back after a corner from Lednev, as Artem played a rebound and scored with his left foot on a beautiful trajectory, as it turned out, Polissia’s winning goal. You can watch the goal on video.

  • SportArena.com Stats: 8 matches in the championship, 1 goal.

Hero of the tour – Georgy Sudakov (Shakhtar)

The first poker in the UPL in seven years and participation in all five goals against LNZ – a powerful answer to the haters from Sudakov.

  • SportArena.com Stats: 8 matches in the championship, 7 goals, 2 assists.
